2010 Victorian Festival
The members of the Victorian Committee have announced that this year they have not been able to arrange a programme for a Victorian Festival Week, for the first time in very many years. This is mainly due to the fact that the group has not attracted younger volunteers for events during the week.
Any helpers would not neccessarily be expected to wear victorian costume, although the committee has found that those involved began happily to indulge in the charade.
The committe is sorry that it will not be able to donate to charities locally, as it has been doing on an annual basis. If sufficient interest should be made apparent, arrangements could be made for a programme of events for 2011 based on events and festivities of previous years.
Victorian Craft Fairs 2010
Although there will not be a main schedule of events for Victorian Week this year, there will still be the annual craft fairs taking place on Tuesday 27th July and Thursday 29th July.
